Our History
On Wednesday March 15th, 2006, Pastor Reggie Scarborough of Family Worship Center in Lakeland Florida, asked Pastor Kenny to become the Pastor of the Wauchula Worship Center church in Wauchula, Florida. Pastor Reggie shared the vision that we are not in Wauchula to build another church on the strength of programs, but to have this church built on the freedom and power of the Holy Spirit. The success of this vision is evident in Family Worship Center of Lakeland, Florida.
God’s people will become encouraged and enlightened when brought into this environment of freedom, where relationships with God and man are being developed when people are willing and obedient to submit their lives to the leading of the Spirit of God. This vision was embraced by the twenty three adults who attended Pastor Kenny’s first service on Sunday, April 2nd, 2006 through this work of God’s Holy Spirit His vision continues.
Since that time, our vision has not changed: to create a worship environment through a union of the Word of God and the Spirit of God that will stimulate a progressive Pentecostal community. As the church has grown, we have moved, built, and have plans to expand when needed to accommodate our growing congregation.
